About Me

Asia Brown is an Instructional Design and Technology (IDT) professional. For the past six years, she has worked at the University of Tampa as the Web and Digital Communications Accessibility Coordinator, but is transitioning into the IDT field. 

 

Asia received her bachelor's in Marketing with a minor in Mass Communications from the University of Central Florida in 2016. She also obtained her M.A. in Social and Emerging Media from the University of Tampa in 2022. As of May 2026, Asia has her M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology. While earning her degree, she got her SCRUM Fundamentals and Social-Behavioral-Educational Researchers certificates.

Relevant courses that she has taken include Introduction to Instructional Design, Management of Instructional Development, and Theories of Learning and Cognition for Instruction.

 

With her M.S. in IDT, Asia is seeking roles in the travel and hospitality industries, but is open to all fields. Asia Brown currently resides in Plant City, Florida.
